The most important part of the decision about whether or not to start a home-based business is determining:

WHY do you want to start a home-based business in the first place?

It may sound ridiculous but I know from many years of experience that the question I just asked you is the most important. It is the most important because it is that why that will keep you going when the going gets tough.

I know my why - MY FAMILY and the desire to have a secure future and not worry about the economy. I love to travel and enjoy vacationing every year. I want to be the GRANDMA that takes the entire family (all 12 of them) on vacation every year and I am not even a Grandma yet. I am looking ahead to what I want for my future.

Starting a home-based business is not for the faint of heart or people who are NOT self-motivated. No one can do this for you! There is no get rich quick scheme in spite of what you have been told. You must work hard. Plug into the leadership of your company. Do what others can see themselves doing.

I am not a fan of businesses with expensive auto-ships because this model makes it difficult to duplicate and they can easily stall. Been there done that and I will warn you  - tread lightly when considering such business models.

To many people in this industry, throw in the towel and then want to trash this industry.

THIS INDUSTRY WORKS for those who work.

Does luck have something to do with it. YES. Can you make your own luck buy staying the course and not quitting? YES
